ADTRAN Q4 Profit Rises; Declares Dividend - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Networking and communications equipment provider ADTRAN, Inc. (ADTN) reported that its fourth quarter net income grew to $11.84 million or $0.20 per share from $3.96 million or $0.06 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Non-GAAP earnings per share for the quarter were $0.25, higher than the $0.11 per share in the prior year quarter.

Sales for the quarter rose to $159.09 million from $139.76 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.14 per share on revenue of $159.01 million for the quarter.

The company also declared a cash dividend of $0.09 per common share for the quarter, which is payable on February 20 to holders of record at the close of business on February 6, 2014.
