Administaff Expands Share Repurchase Program and Declares Quarterly Dividend

HOUSTON, May 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Administaff, Inc. , a leading provider of human resources services for small and medium-sized businesses, today announced that its board of directors has authorized an expansion of its share repurchase program from 8 million to 8.5 million shares. Administaff has repurchased over 7.4 million shares since the program's inception in January 1999. As a result of this expansion, the company now has 1,073,466 shares available for repurchase.

"We are surprised at the market's reaction to our first quarter earnings release, particularly considering our strong financial results and the increase in our full-year guidance," said Paul J. Sarvadi, chairman and chief executive officer. "We remain confident in the fundamentals of our business and operating plan going forward, and we intend to repurchase shares when our trading window opens."

The company also announced that its board of directors has approved a quarterly dividend of $0.09 per share. The cash dividend will be paid on June 30, 2006 to all stockholders of record as of June 2, 2006.
