    STATE COLLEGE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 16, 2005--

Operator Upgrades to C-COR in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Launch DPI, Digital, and Analog Ad Insertion Channels on the Same Platform

C-COR Incorporated (Nasdaq:CCBL) today announced that Adelphia Communications recently joined a growing list of major cable operators upgrading to C-COR's digital advertising solution. Adelphia has launched its first Digital Program Insertion (DPI) system in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The deployment in San Juan includes 40 analog channels and more than half a dozen digital channels.
C-COR is a global provider of interoperable network solutions for the IP era that include access and digital transport products, software systems, and technical services. The Company recently acquired nCUBE, a leading supplier of scalable On Demand and digital advertising solutions. Following the completion of the acquisition, nCUBE became part of C-COR Solutions, one of the Company's three complementary business units.
"As we continue to incorporate more digital channels for ad insertion, it is critical to have a platform in place that supports our current analog services as well as digital program insertion," said Marwan Fawaz, Senior Vice President and CTO for Adelphia Communications. "C-COR's experience in managing both digital and analog advertising insertions from a single platform provides a compelling advantage in cost savings and fulfillment of our needs."
C-COR is the industry leader in digital advertising with more than 90 deployments worldwide including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Denver, Milwaukee, Salt Lake City, Reno, and the combined markets of Buffalo and Cleveland. The Company's advertising solution supports digital and analog systems without duplicating the operator's infrastructure, and has the built-in support to insert HDTV ads with standard-definition (SD) and high-definition (HD) content.
"We're very proud to build Adelphia's first DPI deployment and to expand our relationship from deploying our On Demand solution to also include our digital advertising services," said Terri Richardson, Vice President of Product and Market Management for C-COR Solutions. "Adelphia has been a leader in offering subscribers and advertisers greater value for their cable service. San Juan is another validation of our proven digital ad insertion technology, which delivers to operators the ability to effectively manage current needs and support future growth without costly infrastructure swap outs."
C-COR Solutions provides complete OSS management solutions. C-COR's acquisition of nCUBE added an On Demand delivery and digital advertising system to its product offerings that enables broadband network operators to profitably transition to an IP packet-based network. The combined resources of C-COR and nCUBE bring to market a more efficient capability for operators to manage their businesses with the most complete and sophisticated suite of interoperable back office automation tools for network, content, subscriber, and workforce management.
