ACS Execs Named Superstars By HRO Today Magazine

DALLAS, Feb. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. , a premier provider of business process outsourcing and information technology solutions, announced today that Lynn Blodgett, ACS President and Chief Executive Officer, and Rebecca Scholl, ACS Chief of Staff, have been named to the list of professional "superstars" for the human resources outsourcing (HRO) industry for 2007. Candidates for the list are compiled and voted upon annually by industry leaders and staff members of HRO Today Magazine. Blodgett and Scholl were also named HRO superstars in 2006.

Blodgett is a pioneer in business process outsourcing (BPO), the umbrella services industry under which human resources activities are performed. In 1985, Blodgett co-founded Unibase, a BPO company acquired by ACS in 1996. Under Blodgett's leadership, ACS has vastly expanded its HRO services offering beginning with the strategic acquisition of Motorola's HR business in 2002, Mellon's HR business in 2005, the Systech SAP acquisition of 2006, and the Intellinex learning solutions purchase that same year. Today, ACS provides HRO services to three million people, delivering services from more than 135 global locations in more than 60 countries and supporting 20 languages.

Scholl is responsible for ACS' strategic marketing, market intelligence, business development, targeting acquisitions and alliances, and international business development. She joined ACS in May 2004 as director of market strategy for ACS in Europe. Prior to that, Scholl was a principal analyst at Gartner, covering the BPO market. During her five years there, she managed BPO research, published numerous reports on BPO market trends, and presented at numerous industry conferences on the topic of BPO. She also acted as an advisor to several countries on their offshore BPO strategy, to end-user companies evaluating BPO sourcing, and to service providers on their go-to-market strategies.

"We're honored to once again join a selected group of our peers who are helping to make a difference within the HRO sector," said Lynn Blodgett, ACS President and Chief Executive Officer. "This listing is significant because it draws attention to ACS' vast capabilities in human resources and to the expertise we bring to our many valued HRO clients every day."

In June 2006, June 2005, and June 2004, ACS was also named one of the top 21 HRO providers by HRO Today Magazine.

Criteria for qualifying for the fourth annual list include outstanding contributions to the HRO industry, leadership in implementing outsourcing programs, a proven track record in bringing innovation to the marketplace, widely recognized consultative skills, and other distinguishing accomplishments meriting recognition. Superstars are included in four categories: buyers, providers, thought leaders, and European Superstars. Blodgett and Scholl were named superstars in the "provider" category.
