Acie Vickers Joins QRC Technologies' Board of Directors

FREDERICKSBURG, Va., Aug. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/-- QRC announced that Acie Vickers, founder and former CEO of Digital Receiver Technology, Inc. (DRT), was elected to the company's board of directors.

"Acie has extraordinary technology and business expertise in the government and intelligence markets, and we are delighted that he is joining QRC's Board of Directors," said Roger Matherly, QRC's CEO and Chairman.

Acie Vickers was the founder and CEO of DRT until its sale to Boeing in 2008. Like QRC, DRT designs, manufactures, and markets communications test and measurement equipment primarily focused on supporting the need of the United States military and intelligence communities.

Previously, Vickers held a number of leadership positions at defense contractor Watkins-Johnson (WJ), including sales, marketing, radio design, software development and management.

Vickers received Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
