Acceleron Prices Public Offering Of 2.4 Mln Shares At $50/shr, Before Discounts

(RTTNews) - Acceleron Pharma Inc. (XLRN) announced the pricing of public offering of 2.4 million common shares at $50.00 per share, before underwriting discounts. The company expects to close the offering on or about January 28, 2014.

Acceleron also granted underwriters a 30-day option to buy additional 360,000 shares at public offering price, less underwriting discounts.

Citigroup and Leerink Partners LLC are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. Piper Jaffray & Co. is acting as lead manager and JMP Securities is acting as co-manager for the offering.
