Acacia's Unit Enters Into Patent License Deal With Motorola Mobility LLC

(RTTNews) - Acacia Research Corp. (ACTG) announced that all disputes and issues between its subsidiary Cell and Network Selection LLC and Motorola Mobility LLC have been resolved.

In a separate press release, Acacia Research announced that its Cell and Network Selection LLC subsidiary has entered into a settlement and patent license agreement with Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. This agreement resolves all disputes between Cell and Network Selection LLC and certain Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd affiliates pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

Additionally, Acacia Research announced that the litigation pending in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas brought by its Criminal Activity Surveillance LLC subsidiary against Behavioral Recognition Systems, Inc. covering patents directed to video analytics used in the field of security has now been dismissed.
