AAR Q4 Profit Plunges; Provides FY14 Outlook

(RTTNews) - AAR (AIR) Thursday said fourth-quarter net income attributable to the company was $0.6 million or $0.01 per share, compared to $12.9 million or $0.32 per share in the same period last year.

On average, seven analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.45 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues were $553.8 million, down from $563.3 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $543.28 million.

Looking ahead to the fiscal year 2014, the company currently expects earnings to be in the range of $2.00 to $2.05 per share and revenues in the range of $2.18 billion to $2.23 million.

Analysts, based on consensus, currently expect the company to report full-year earnings of $2.02 per share on revenues of $2.19 billion.
