18th Annual PTC/USER World Event 2007 Draws Record Attendance

PTC (Nasdaq: PMTC), the Product Development Company® today announced record attendance at the 18th annual PTC/USER World Event 2007 held June 3-6, in Tampa, Florida. The conference attracted more than 2,028 attendees representing 739 companies and 25 countries around the world. PTC/USER is an independent not-for-profit organization comprised of users of PTC software. The 18th annual PTC/USER World Event included the launch of Windchill® 9.0, the latest release of PTC’s production-proven content and process management software and Windchill MPMLink™, an integral module of Windchill 9.0, for manufacturing process management (MPM). Attendees participated in more than 260 business and technical conference presentations over 18 tracks and took advantage of 64 hours of optional hands-on training on Arbortext®, Pro/ENGINEER®, Windchill® and Mathcad®. PTC/USER also featured an exhibit hall that hosted more than 115 demonstrations of the latest tools and technologies from PTC and members of the PTC/USER Industry Partner program, including members of the PTC Channel Advantage™ and PTC Partner Advantage™ programs, such as IBM, HP and Sun. "The PTC/USER World Event continues to provide invaluable opportunities for members of the PTC/USER community to interface with PTC executives, product managers and partners, gaining firsthand knowledge of company and product strategy and direction,” said Dan Glenn, president, PTC/USER. "Attendees cited the inspirational keynote speakers, the Windchill 9.0 Launch and Learning Center, and Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 pre-production hands-on-workshops as highlights of the event which exceeded their expectations.” Student Design Challenge Winners Announced The PTC Worldwide Student Design Challenge, sponsored by the PTC Education Program, gives students the opportunity to showcase their achievements in product design using PTC solutions. Eight regional winners representing North America, Europe and Asia were announced at the PTC/USER World Event.
