So investiert der CT (Lux) - Global Extended Alpha 2E (EUR Accumulation) Fonds: The fund seeks to achieve capital appreciation. The Portfolio will principally invest directly or indirectly into equity securities worldwide, including shares of companies in developed countries and Emerging Market Countries. Exposure to these markets may be gained through both long and short positions. The Portfolio may invest in equities, including through depositary receipts, derivatives, forward transactions and eligible UCIs. The Portfolio may also hold cash, deposits and Money Market Instruments. The Portfolio will invest in derivatives to gain short exposure and may also invest in derivatives to gain long exposure. The Sub-Advisor may choose to use one or a combination of the above investment methods. It is however expected that the Sub-Advisor will obtain part of its long and short exposure by investing in a single total return swap entered into with a counterparty, where the return is linked to the performance of a portfolio of actively managed investments.
