Target Launches TargetLists(SM) as a Complete Destination for Gift and Shopping List Creation

MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Target(R) introduces the ultimate gift-giving and shopping list destination with TargetLists. TargetLists is a multi-occasion gift and shopping list-making tool designed for any occasion, traditional or otherwise, such as birthday, anniversary, Mother's Day, back-to-college, party planning, holiday and more.

TargetLists makes the process of creating or shopping from a list fun and efficient with easy-to-use in-store kiosks and online at Target.com/targetlists. Guests can browse products, create lists, add items or track items purchased and share lists with family and friends. To browse and select items, list creators have two easy options: simply scan the item's barcode in-store with a scanner or click on the item they want to add online. Gift-givers can visit their local Target store to purchase gifts or shop from an online list where items can be purchased, wrapped and shipped all in one stop. Lists can be printed at in-store kiosks or at home.

With three ways for guests to customize their lists, TargetLists ensures gift recipients get exactly what they want every time. Guests can add specific information about an item in the Comments section, offer general details to gift givers about the items such as favorite colors or themes in the Message section, and add notes such as whether or not items are available exclusively online on in-store in the Notes section. Guests can even store future gift ideas, track items purchased, find other people's lists and email their lists to friends and family.

TargetLists keeps people connected through every occasion. Lists are easy to share online with friends and family. Organizations and companies can also take advantage of TargetLists by creating group lists for up to three people. Guests can make their lists open to public viewing or keep them private and accessible via List ID. In addition, there are no limits to the number or kinds of lists that guests can create.
