A frontrunner in her field, Ms. Bender remains abreast of the latest legal developments by maintaining affiliations and memberships with several professional organizations including as a Fellow of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers, a member of the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association Family Law Committee, a member of LeGal (Lesbian and Gay Lawyers Association), and a member of the American Bar Association Family Law Section.
