SenSage Joins Hitachi Data Systems ISV Partner Program

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- SenSage, Inc., a leading provider of event data warehouse solutions, today announced that it has joined the Hitachi Data Systems Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Partner Program. The program is designed to offer its partners comprehensive interoperability testing and validation certification with Hitachi's industry-leading storage solutions, including the Hitachi Content Archive Platform, the company's 21st century digital archiving solution.

Together with Hitachi Data Systems, SenSage is providing customers with an active archive solution that leverages all of the advanced content management services that the Hitachi Content Archive Platform 2.0 delivers along with the added assurance that it has been tested and validated by Hitachi Data Systems to meet customer requirements for long-term data retention, scalability, preservation and protection of business-critical data.

"With the exploding growth of compliance requirements, enterprises are required to keep massive logs of data for audit purposes or to track potential insider abuse," said Frank Bien, vice president, business development, SenSage. "The synergistic combination of SenSage software and the Hitachi Content Archive Platform 2.0 gives companies the confidence of knowing their records have been accurately time stamped and have not been altered."

SenSage's software collects data including system log files, database event records, operating system event logs and telecommunications call detail records. It transforms this data -- often the largest dataset in the enterprise -- into actionable intelligence, at much lower costs than traditional data warehousing and security products. The company's software solutions are standards-based and can be substantially optimized for hardware and storage products, resulting in a best-of-breed security information and event management (SIEM) appliance offering. SenSage's approach blends a high degree of performance with an array of administrative, management, analytics and reporting capabilities to meet the most stringent of compliance and regulatory requirements.

The Hitachi Content Archive Platform 2.0 is comprised of both software and hardware, which supports policy-based integration from many distributed or centralized repositories such as e-mail, file systems, databases, applications and content or document management systems. The platform ensures secure archival-quality retention and preservation or verifiable destruction of content. With the Hitachi Content Archive Platform, users can leverage a set of common and unified archive services such as centralized search, policy-based retention, authentication and protection. "SenSage brings to the table cutting-edge data management technology and the domain expertise that will greatly benefit our storage customers and significantly contribute to the growing success and continued market traction of our advanced Hitachi Content Archive Platform in customer environments."

SenSage software is well suited to meet customer demands in highly regulated, transaction-intensive industries, including energy, finance, healthcare and government.
