QlikView’s Free Personal Edition Up to 10,900 New Users in One Month

QlikTech, (NASDAQ:QLIK) a leading business intelligence software company, today announced the tremendous momentum and popularity of its QlikView Personal Edition. The company started by averaging 6,000 to 7,500 new users each month, but in the past several months have seen numbers rise steadily to a record 10,900 in November 2010. These are individuals registering to download the free, powerful QlikView analysis platform which allows users to build a custom BI application for the visibility they need to explore their data to make better decisions.

Keith Edmonds, IT executive with Aon, a global provider of risk management services, insurance, and human capital consulting, downloaded QlikView Personal Edition on his laptop prior to boarding a flight home to New Zealand from Singapore. With no previous QlikView training at all, he was able to develop a fully-functional revenue analysis application, covering a host of countries in Asia – all while on his flight.
