Penson Futures Names Steve Leone Chief Operating Officer

Penson Futures, a member of the Penson Worldwide, Inc. (NASDAQ: PNSN) group of companies and a Futures Commission Merchant that provides execution and clearing services on the world’s major exchanges, announced today that it has named Steve Leone as Chief Operating Officer (COO), a new position. As COO, Mr. Leone will have responsibilities over Global Clearing, Information Technology, Finance and Accounting.

Mr. Leone brings to this position more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined Penson Futures in November 2008 as Director of Global Clearing and Settlements. Prior to joining Penson Futures, he was with J.P. Morgan Futures and ABN AMRO Futures as head of the North American Customer Service teams for each of those firms. Mr. Leone was also with Cargill Investor Services from 1987 through 2001 holding a number of operational management positions.
