Online Marketing Trailblazer Gary Vaynerchuk to Keynote at the Seventh Annual e-Dialog Client Summit

e-Dialog, a proven provider of advanced e-mail and multichannel marketing solutions within the GSI Commerce (Nasdaq: GSIC) Marketing Services division, today announced that Gary Vaynerchuk cofounder of VaynerMedia, author of New York Times bestseller Crush IT, and social media expert will keynote the 2010 e-Dialog Client Summit. This year’s event will be held at the Boston Renaissance Waterfront Hotel from Sept. 20-22.

In his keynote address, "The Thank You Economy”, Vaynerchuk will share his multi-faceted approach to branding and business, providing insight on the importance that content and context holds in marketing when it comes to building relationships with consumers.

In addition, Ken Magill, editor of The Magill Report, will facilitate an expert panel discussion on why marketers must take a multichannel approach to marketing. Panelists include Shar VanBoskirk, vice president and principal analyst, Forrester Research, Inc.; Rebecca Kane, director of customer relationship marketing for Dick’s Sporting Goods; and John Lazarchic, PETCO’s vice president of e-commerce.

Also taking place at this year’s Summit during the annual Client Appreciation Dinner, e-Dialog will host a silent auction to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Donations from clients, employees, and local businesses will be auctioned off to raise money that will grant a child’s wish on behalf of e-Dialog, its clients, and partners.

"We are pleased to partner with e-Dialog at its client conference,” said Frances Hall, senior development specialist for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, an e-Dialog client. "The Summit is a first-class event that provides us with a great opportunity to share and learn best practices in e-mail as well as social and mobile marketing. e-Dialog is more than a service provider. We see it as an extension of the Make-A-Wish® team.”

e-Dialog is also happy to welcome MBS and M3 Mobile to this year’s conference. Both companies were recently acquired by e-Dialog and will be in attendance to educate marketers on their areas of expertise, including multichannel strategy, analytics, and mobile marketing.

e-Dialog 2010 Client Summit highlights include:

  • Thought leaders from MBS will discuss the importance of having a 360-degree view of customers, and how that insight can be used to unlock the power of multichannel marketing while determining how each customer touch point is contributing to profits.
  • The mobile marketing experts at M3 Mobile will cover strategies for developing a mobile roadmap, sharing practical strategies for boosting return and engaging customers.
  • Select e-Dialog clients from a variety of verticals will take part in a multichannel marketing "show and tell”, offering a broad view of challenges faced and lessons learned in multichannel marketing campaigns.
  • Darren Fifield, managing director of e-Dialog Asia-Pacific will offer marketers the insight they need to stretch their global programs to the Asia-Pacific Region.

"Every year we aim to deliver relevant and inventive content to our attendees,” stated John Rizzi, president and CEO of e-Dialog. "Marketers are now eager to channel their marketing power with a multichannel approach. We are excited to share our e-mail, database, social, and mobile marketing expertise with clients in order to help them deliver targeted messages across multiple channels.”
