JennisonDryden Names Michael Rosenberg to Lead Defined Contribution Business

JennisonDryden Mutual Funds today announced that Michael A. Rosenberg has been named senior vice president, responsible for expanding Prudential’s mutual funds presence within the defined contribution market. JennisonDryden is Prudential Financial, Inc.'s (NYSE: PRU) proprietary mutual fund family. Rosenberg joins JennisonDryden after leading Retirement Services at Goldman Sachs, where he worked closely with plan sponsors, consultants, service providers and intermediaries to develop retirement plan relationships. Rosenberg will lead a team that includes Regional Vice President Anthony Fiore. "Michael brings tremendous talent and leadership in the investment-only defined contribution market,” said John Drahzal, JennisonDryden’s director of distribution. "With employees focused on retirement savings now more than ever—and with help from recent tax laws favoring defined contribution plans—we believe this market offers a tremendous breadth of opportunities for our products.” Before joining Goldman Sachs in 1998, Rosenberg was a director of Investment Management Consulting for Capital Resource Advisors (now CRA Rogers Casey), a leader in the pension consulting business. He also spent 11 years at ABN AMRO developing and marketing retirement plan services. Rosenberg has a B.S. degree from Northern Illinois University and an MBA in finance from Keller Graduate School of Management. He is also NASD registered Series 7 and Series 63. JennisonDryden brings institutional asset management capabilities to retail investors in a wide range of mutual funds and separate accounts.
