Humana to Allow Early Prescription Refills in Illinois Disaster Areas

With damage to homes, businesses and property widespread in the area, Humana today has temporarily lifted the normal 30-day restriction on early prescription refills for its commercial and Medicare health plan members in the following declared disaster areas: Clark, Coles, Crawford, Cumberland, Jasper and Lawrence.

The early-refill waiver on prescriptions is in effect in those counties for all Humana members through June 22, 2008. Humana members with questions are encouraged to call the toll-free Customer Service number on the back of their Humana identification cards.
