EQT Corp Q2 Net Income Up

(RTTNews) - EQT Corporation (EQT), Thursday reported increase in net income for the second quarter, due to higher production sales and prices, increased gathered volumes, and increased transmission capacity sales and throughput.

For the three-month period, the company reported earnings of $86.9 million, or $0.57 per share,compared with $31.4 million, or $0.21 per share during the same quarter last year. On average, seventeen analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings per share of $0.56 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Net operating revenues increased 58 percent to $469.7 million from $298.1 million reported during the same period last year. Analyst estimated the company to report revenues of $487 million.
