Environmental Protection Agency Awards $10.5M Task Order to SRA
FAIRFAX, Va., Dec. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SRA International, Inc. , a leading provider of technology and strategic consulting services and solutions to federal government organizations, announced that it has been awarded a competitive task order by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). SRA will provide information technology support to EPA's Brownfields Program, a critical element of the Agency's efforts to integrate environmental protection and economic revitalization. The task order, awarded under the Chief Information Officer Solutions and Partners 2 Innovations (CIO- SP2i) contract, has an estimated value of $10.5 million over four years if all options are exercised.
SRA has worked with EPA on the Brownfields Program -- designed to clean up contaminated properties and sustainably reuse them to create economic growth and more livable communities -- since 1996. The Company worked closely with EPA to develop information management solutions to manage, report, and communicate activities, accomplishments, and performance measures for the program. Under this new contract, SRA will help the EPA Office of Brownfields Cleanup and Redevelopment enhance the Assessment, Cleanup, and Redevelopment Exchange System to meet the reporting and management needs of the program. Services will include requirements analysis; enterprise architecture design and implementation; systems design, development, and integration; data analysis and management; and electronic content and document management. The SRA team includes Environmental Management Support, Inc.
