Energy Transfer Equity L.P. Reports 183% Advance In Q4 Earnings

(RTTNews) - Energy Transfer Equity L.P. (ETE) revealed earnings for its fourth quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $314 million, or $0.30 per share. This was higher than $111 million, or $0.11 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.36 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 29.2% to $9.54 billion. This was down from $13.48 billion last year.
