CTI Industries Q3 Profit Climbs - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - CTI Industries Corp. (CTIB) reported third-quarter net income applicable to common shares of $234.32 thousand or $0.07 per share, compared to $6.04 thousand or breakeven per share in the previous year.

On average, two analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.05 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The manufacturer of flexible packaging and storage products, laminated films and novelty balloons, said its net sales climbed 22.9 percent to $14.48 million from $11.79 million a year earlier.

Vacuum Sealer Line sales grew 46.8 percent, while Foil Balloon sales were up 14.3 percent from last year. Latex Balloon sales climbed 20.3 percent from a year ago.
