CTI Industries Q2 Loss Narrows - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - CTI Industries Corp. (CTIB) reported that its second-quarter of 2013 net loss was $56,000 or $0.02 per share compared to a net loss of $78,000 or $0.02 per share in the second quarter of 2012.

Income from operations was $291,000 compared to $13,000 for the second quarter last year. However, net income for the quarter was negatively affected by one-time rebate costs of $93,000, interest expense of $206,000 and foreign exchange currency loss of $171,000.

Consolidated net sales for the second quarter were $13.03 million compared to consolidated net sales of $11.82 million in the second quarter of 2012, an increase of 10.3%.
