China Nepstar Q4 Net Income Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - China Nepstar Chain Drugstore Ltd. (NPD), a leading retail drugstore chain in China, reported fourth-quarter net income of RMB 37.3 million, or RMB 0.38 income per ADS, compared to RMB 33.4 million, or RMB 0.34 income per ADS for the fourth quarter of 2014.

Revenue for the fourth quarter of 2015 increased by 6.5% to RMB 905.2 million from RMB 850.1 million for the same period in 2014. Same store sales for the fourth quarter of 2015 increased by 12.5%.

The company said the increase in revenue and same store sales was primarily attributable to in-store promotional initiatives and improved average store output.
