Acorda Reports FDA Approval Of INBRIJA; To Be Commercially Available In Q1

(RTTNews) - Acorda Therapeutics, Inc. (ACOR), on Friday, announced the U.S. FDA approved INBRIJA for intermittent treatment of OFF episodes in people with Parkinson's disease treated with carbidopa/levodopa. INBRIJA is not to be used by patients who take or have taken a nonselective monoamine oxidase inhibitor such as phenelzine or tranylcypromine within the last two weeks.

Acorda Therapeutics stated that INBRIJA is expected to be commercially available by prescription in the U.S. in the first quarter of 2019 and will be distributed through a network of specialty pharmacies.
