ACE Expands Its Environmental Expertise

ACE is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Environmental Risk Underwriters to its market-leading London based Environmental Liability team.

Robert Wade and Hayley Dixon, both experienced professionals with strong scientific backgrounds, are joining to enhance ACE’s product offering, and strengthen our relationships with clients and brokers across the UK and Ireland. They will join Emma Bartolo, London and Southeast Environmental Risk Manager, Chris Strong, Regional Environmental Risk Manager, and Tom Hillier, who in addition to managing the London Corporate Casualty business will oversee ACE’s UK and Ireland Environmental Liability operations. Together the team will be responsible for working with brokers to develop environmental liability programmes, bolstering the reputation ACE’s Environmental Liability team has cultivated for high standards of client service and comprehensive advice.

Robert comes to ACE from Chartis Insurance where he acted as an Underwriter in the Environmental Impairment Liability department. Prior to entering the insurance market he worked at URS Corporation Ltd as a Senior Environmental Consultant within the Transactions and Compliance team. Robert holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science as well as an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (AIEMA).

Hayley joins ACE from Conestoga-Rovers & Associates Ltd where she worked as an Environmental Consultant providing both scientific advice to clients as well as guidance on environmental legislation and standards. Prior to this she worked for four years as an Environmental Engineer at Golder Associates (UK) Ltd. Hayley holds a BSc (Hons) and MSc in Environmental Science in addition to being an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (AIEMA).
